Revision history and restore
Revision history lets you inspect saved template content and restore an earlier version. Use it with an understanding that existing Pages render through the same template.
DocumentationBefore restoring
Choose the earlier design or content you would like to bring back. Keep a record of the current version if it contains other changes you may need to reapply.
Compare the HTML, variable references, images, links, and link-preview content. An older revision can refer to a variable or asset that is no longer available to the Page owner.
Restore a revision
- Open the template’s revision history.
- Choose the intended saved revision and inspect it.
- Restore deliberately, then reopen the current template.
- Open the preview to explore the restored design on desktop and mobile.
- Use the AI conversation if you would like to refine the restored design further.
Do not rely on revision numbers as release versions shared across templates. A restored template is still subject to current data, permissions, and rendering behavior.
What restoration does not do
It does not rerun profile enrichment or recompute stored prompt results for old Pages. It also does not restore revoked connector access or recreate a missing user definition. Use generation troubleshooting when the failure belongs to the Page’s inputs rather than template content.
