Personalization

Saved user variables

Saved user variables hold reusable text values for your own account, such as a booking link or a signature. They resolve in the user namespace.

Documentation

Create a value

Open user variables, enter a name and nonblank value, and save. Copy the generated identifier rather than deriving it from the label. For a variable whose saved slug is booking_link, use:

<a href="{{ user.booking_link }}">Book a conversation</a>

The identifier is stable after creation. Editing the display name does not rename the slug. profile, company, and their nested paths are reserved for built-in profile and company values.

Update and test

Edit the saved value, save, and inspect a Page owned by your account that references it. Values are read from the Page owner’s context, so a teammate’s Page can resolve differently even with the same template.

Keep URLs complete and appropriate for public use. Do not store credentials in variables intended for Page rendering.

Delete a definition

The user-variable screen blocks deletion when the current user’s templates reference the variable. Remove or replace those references first. For shared workflows, coordinate changes to the variable with teammates who use its identifier.

Definitions are personal. If a teammate needs the same logical variable, they need their own saved value under the identifier expected by the template.
