Workflows

Prepare images in Landit

Prepare reusable images in the Landit application before asking an assistant to reference them in a template workflow. The supported documentation does not require the beta public API.

MCP

Upload in the app

Open assets, choose a name, upload a supported image, and confirm it loads. Copy the exact user_asset.<slug> tag. Duplicate names can produce different slugs, so do not derive the reference from the filename.

Use Assets and image variables for file constraints and ownership. Share only images you are authorized to use publicly.

Describe the intended use

Give the assistant the exact asset tag and purpose, such as a hero image or product screenshot. A stored asset URL, a template screenshot, and an Open Graph image are separate things.

Change sharing through MCP

update_asset_sharing can set an owned asset’s workspace visibility. Confirm the intended asset and visibility before changing it. Landit may block making it private when shared templates or teammates depend on it.

If your assistant exposes API-dependent image-upload instructions, use the application upload route instead. Beta API upload instructions are outside the officially supported documentation scope.
