Claude
Connect, authorize, choose a template, and create personalized Pages through Claude.
MCPConnect Claude to Landit to browse available templates, create personalized Pages, check their progress, find existing Pages, and review stored engagement data.
MCP is the connection Claude uses to call Landit’s tools. You authorize your own Landit account through a browser sign-in. Creating and editing templates happens in the Landit app.
Before you begin
Have a Landit account and a Claude account with access to custom connectors. Your Claude organization may require an administrator to add the connector. For Page creation, complete Landit setup, have an available template, and prepare your prospect information.
Use this Landit remote MCP server URL:
https://mcp.justlandit.com/mcp
Use the complete URL, including /mcp. A customer Page hostname or the documentation hostname is a different service.
1. Add the connector
For an individual account, open Claude’s Customize → Connectors, then use + Add → Add custom connector. Name it Landit, enter the server URL, and continue through authentication setup. Choose browser sign-in for Landit; do not configure shared request-header credentials.
For a managed workspace, an authorized administrator adds a custom web connector under Organization settings → Connectors. Members then connect individually through their connector list. Follow Anthropic’s current custom-connector instructions if account controls or labels differ.
2. Authorize your Landit account
Continue to Landit’s authorization page, sign in to the intended account, and review the requested access before approving it. Return to Claude after authorization completes.
Each user should connect their own account. Landit tools operate as that authenticated user; joining a Claude workspace does not automatically grant access to another person’s Landit records.
Do not paste your Landit password or API key into the chat. This connection uses the browser authorization flow.
3. Enable Landit and check access
In the conversation’s connector controls, enable Landit. Then make a read-only request:
List my available Landit templates with their names and slugs.
Do not create any Pages yet.
A successful result should show the templates available to your connected account, or a clear empty result when none are available. If templates you expect are missing, check the signed-in account and the template’s sharing settings.
4. Choose a template explicitly
Choose one of the returned templates yourself. Ask Claude to inspect it before submitting a prospect:
Use the template whose slug is <the-slug-I-selected>.
Read its variable requirements and tell me which values I need to provide.
Do not create a Page yet.
Replace the bracketed text with the actual slug returned by Landit. Claude should use get_template to inspect the template’s current inputs. Template selection is your decision; the assistant should not guess a template from its name or choose one without your direction.
If the template uses prompt variables, make sure matching definitions exist in your own Landit account. A teammate’s shared template does not supply that teammate’s prompt definitions or personal saved values.
5. Create one Page
After reviewing the requirements, give Claude a real LinkedIn person-profile URL you are authorized to process and the requested template inputs:
Create one Landit Page using the template I selected.
Use this prospect: <the-real-LinkedIn-person-profile-URL>.
Name the enrichment "First Claude Page".
Use these template input values: <my-values-for-the-required-inputs>.
Check the resulting PageRun until it succeeds or fails, and report the result.
Replace every bracketed item before submitting. Omit the input-values sentence when the selected template has no additional inputs.
Creation uses enrich_prospects. It creates a new enrichment, with one processing run for each submitted prospect. For several prospects in one request, Claude should put the complete list in one creation call.
Every creation call creates a new batch. If you are unsure whether an earlier submission succeeded, check its returned identifiers or search for an existing Page before asking Claude to submit it again.
6. Confirm the result
Claude should check get_enrichment for the batch or get_page_run for one prospect and report the actual result:
| Run state | Meaning |
|---|---|
queued |
Accepted and waiting for processing. |
running |
Processing has started. |
succeeded |
The Page is ready; use its returned page_url. |
failed |
Read the failure reason before correcting and resubmitting. |
Creation starts background processing. Follow individual PageRun statuses for ready Page links; completed Pages can be used while the rest of the batch continues.
If the request included HubSpot writeback, check crm_writeback_state separately. A successful Page does not by itself establish that its URL has been written to the CRM.
Use the returned Page URL to open or share the personalized result.
What you can do next
Ask Claude to find an existing Page before creating another one, or to inspect a known Page’s stored engagement:
Find my existing Landit Pages for this prospect. Do not create a new one.
Show the stored engagement for the Page with slug <my-page-slug>.
Explain the recorded activity without inferring who the visitor was.
Engagement sessions do not establish a visitor’s identity or prove how long a person read the Page. Treat the recorded observations as evidence with those limits.
For images, use the Landit dashboard’s asset upload workflow. Local file upload through Claude is outside this setup guide. Create or edit templates in the Landit app, then return to Claude to use them.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Next action |
|---|---|
| Custom connector controls are unavailable | Check your Claude account and organization permissions; ask an administrator if the account is managed. |
| Browser authorization does not complete | Confirm the intended Landit account and retry the connector’s sign-in flow. Report the visible error if it repeats. |
| Connected, but Landit is not used in the conversation | Enable the connector for that conversation and explicitly ask for a Landit action. |
| No templates are listed | Create a template in Landit or ask its owner to make it available to you. |
| Template not found | List templates again and use an exact returned slug available to the connected account. |
| A run fails | Read its failure reason. Check the profile URL, prompt definitions, and template inputs before submitting a corrected batch. |
| Claude stops before processing finishes | Ask it to check the existing enrichment or run identifier; do not repeat creation just to check progress. |
To stop using Landit in a conversation, disable the connector there. To remove the Claude connection, use its connector-management controls. If you need the Landit authorization revoked as well, confirm that separately with your Landit administrator or contact.
