Find and select a template

Select the template before creating Pages. The assistant must use the template you explicitly choose rather than inferring one from your company or prospect list.

MCP

Find candidates

Ask the assistant to call list_templates. Follow next_page until it is null when you need the full list. The returned summaries identify stable slugs and input manifests without returning full template HTML.

Choose a template by its displayed name and confirm its slug. If names are similar, ask for details rather than assuming the first match is correct.

Inspect the manifest

Call get_template with the selected slug. Read template_variables and system_variables, then check which values must come from prospect inputs, saved user values, prompt definitions, CRM data, or assets.

A shared template can still depend on definitions the Page owner does not have. Confirm those dependencies before submitting prospects.

Treat previews deliberately

The detailed response can include content and a public preview URL. Do not assume that URL is a private review link. A generic preview may not include generated prompt output or real prospect data.

Create and edit templates in Landit’s application. The documented MCP workflow inspects available templates and their existing generation progress; it does not promise a template-authoring mutation.
